By Rafael Betancor Perdomo, mayor-president of the City of Pájara

not fire a man and Carlos González Cuevas, man who had great personal respect and appreciation. Medical and council in our village for nearly three decades, developed an important role both in public life and in the medical field until yesterday, the day he died in his home, at 66 years of age.

Not only are we a co-Corporation is also one of the doctors that's been sitting chair in our town, where he worked for the health of everyone from the public and private health.

I also mean deep regret that houses the rest of the Corporation and the Pájara people, especially the vicinity of Morro Jable, where Carlos Gonzalez Cuevas began his medical work back in the 70's last century.

therefore also I wish publicly to his family, especially his wife, Isabel Rodríguez Rodríguez, my condolences and that of their colleagues at City Hall and many of our countrymen, who knew the value of the deceased man and doctor.

friend is gone, partner, politician and physician, but are his works, his work and memory, to help us cope with the trance of such a significant loss. Carlos González Cuevas was a doctor by profession and his passion was politics, to which he devoted nearly 30 years of public service in the municipal corporation Pájara since the beginning of this stage of democracy in Spain until yesterday, almost uninterrupted. Rest in peace.
