Socialists clear doubts, are positioned against the co-payment system, and described as" backward, unequal and undemocratic. " Acosta commitment to "recapitalize the health system as proposed canary against privatization "

Fuerteventura's Socialist Party, through its City Council candidate, Blas Acosta, advocating improved health care in Cuba:" The management has been disastrous both in care primary and specialty care in both infrastructure equipment and the number of centers that are required in all municipalities of the island. The socialist candidate believes that " to the plight of the Hospital Insular de Fuerteventura, with works to be incomplete, and the disastrous health policy of the Canary Islands Health Service "to be charged to the binomial formed by CC-PP and ask for more attention to this matter."

It has pointed out that in recent years, all citizens of the island have seen their health rights have been rolled back ree c that "given the grave situation of Fuerteventura Island Hospital the dire health policy Canary Islands Health Service should be reported to the regional government composed of the pair CC-PP and ask for more attention on this crucial matter for all citizens. "

It has pointed out that in recent years, all citizens of Fuerteventura have seen services Island Hospital have deteriorated progressively. Today, the situation could hardly get worse. According to the PSOE candidate for the council, the reality is that "soldier on", usually have few personal resources; team of residents that due to forms of abusive guards, eventually leaving.

Also, there have been reports that "the decline (or simple desertion) of physicians is virtually continuous and widespread, in areas such as Emergency, Obstetrics and Surgery, with an alarming impact on attendance, "and that" in this latest specialty is surgery patients waiting for months. "

Another issue that is considered more serious transport the hospital "with very few ambulances that can barely cover the entire island." Considered "unacceptable and outrageous that some patients with certain conditions, moving more than 30 or 50 miles to be served." To remedy this situation, "Third World", Acosta proposes the creation of a Special Care Centre in the south, "because the citizens of South Island have the same right to immediate attention and professional."

For all the above and the regional government inaction (CC) and his former partner (PP) in this situation as the Socialist Party claims that "it is essential training and experience in managing health areas." Ensure that similar errors are not a purely economic issue, but management.

"Yes there is money to transfer by helicopter to the turtles or the chairman of regional executive, but no money to invest in infrastructure and equipment that are essential for citizens, "argued Blas Acosta, and delved into that " yes there is money to pay overtime to professionals who work piece in place to cover the vacancies.

Yes there is money to create new positions and millionaires pay salaries, but no money to meet our equipment needs and to balance the Law Unit at the regional level " , reporting from the PSOE Blas Acosta.

EL PUERTO DEL ROSARIO PSOE PROPOSES CREATING A GREAT CULTURAL INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE OLD RESERVOIR POND COALITION

"Municipal Heritage will recover to the historic water tank of the pond, abandoned for more than 40 years as a space for young people, leisure and culture. " The socialist candidate for mayor of the capital highlights the culture "as a strategic project for the future"

Domingo Fuentes Curbelo, socialist candidate to the City of Puerto del Rosario, has today introduced one of the great objectives that the city government next mark on cultural matters. Fuentes has opted to rehabilitate the old tank water from the pond, abandoned for over forty years, and thus give infrastructure value so far "has been barren for the culture of Puerto del Rosario.

Fuentes criticized cultural policy carried out by nationalists for being more focused on" perpetuation of his party "that" facilitate access to culture the entire population of Fuerteventura. " Domingo Fuentes calls for a cultural policy based on four areas: foundation, framing, coordinate and manage.

It's turning into a cultural activity participation tool citizen empowerment of democratic values \u200b\u200band the integration of all citizens. Understanding the culture in all its breadth, including cultural tourism as travel, sports or enjoying nature.

To this end, the Socialist candidate expresses the need to "optimize resources and cultural infrastructure existing, developing partnership agreements with private companies and institutions so as to involve cultural policy promoted by the City Council. Agreements also allow the development of credit to local cultural initiatives, which exist and are being seputaldas by the lack of spaces where they can develop ".

For access to culture, Sources commitment to "set as priority access to youth culture and awareness permanently through social networks of all possible digital media all the activities offered. Culture, therefore, would be as a strategic project for the future. "

Fuentes notes that in its commitment to the economic development of the capital Fuerteventura, from the cultural hub, the Socialists seek to exploit, not just the major tourist attraction of the monuments located on the promenade or the activities that take place in the Auditorium of Puerto del Rosario, but also "cultural infrastructure are abandoned, leaving the city without a true cultural center as having any of the other islands, so it is necessary to alleviate regional imbalances in the provision of cultural facilities. "

In this sense, the candidate refers to infrastructures such as the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM) in Las Palmas, or the Space of the Arts in Tenerife (TEA) facilities management essential if we "take the culture as a reference and tourist use, to thereby revitalize the city's economy."

Socialists propose a set of measures related to cultural revitalization the capital, most notably the creation of a large Central Park, "to become the green heart of Puerto del Rosario and where to develop sports and leisure or play "for what is more necessary than ever" recover Port City project and the capital no longer turn away from the sea. " In the same vein, Fuentes explores in depth the need to prioritize and support youth "not only through the creation of centers to promote artistic and cultural manifestations, but a formation that gives real opportunities for employment. "

The City Council presents the publications' Water' and 'The Sea' in Fuerteventura

journalist and photographers Eloy Vera Javier Melian and Carlos de Saa are the main proponents of these two publications about the idiosyncrasies majorera

The first editions of 'Fuerteventura. The sea, the sea 'and' Fuerteventura. Water ', edited by the Publications Service of the City Council, yesterday saw the light with the public presentation held yesterday at the Library Center Island (Puerto del Rosario) to more than one hundred people.

Cabildo president Mario Cabrera, and the mayor of Puerto del Rosario, Marcial Morales, accompanied in this act majorero journalist Vera Eloy Sosa, responsible for the preparation of texts and documentary work has resulted in these two books. It has also been important to take forward these two publications, the work of photographers Carlos de Saa, responsible for the images that illustrate the book on the sea, and Javier Melian, author of the photographs of the water.

The Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage of the City Council is the promoter of two publications, as described Eloy Vera, "have as a starting point and the sea water in the life history and Fuerteventura" , and "try to reach readers through texts light and strength of their images."

Mario Cabrera assessed the occurrence of these two publications as "a commitment to provide informative perspective a new vision of two elements is necessary to disclose because they talk about our identity and our culture and that until now had no specific literature too, but have nevertheless played a crucial role in the development of society Fuerteventura.

"Water has always been present in life of rural people, living in an arid island looked at the sky hoping for rain, and when I got had the wisdom to economize. This is the end of the day is an interesting analogy to the present time, when many of the institutions' efforts in this area are directed to complete the cycle of water from desalination using renewable energies and reuse wastewater. As for the sea, is related to the sadness in the memories of families who saw his men leave the island in bad times, and the future that draws on tourism has given us so much and the necessary balance proposed since the declaration of Fuerteventura as a Biosphere Reserve, "said Cabrera.

Marcial Morales highlighted the work of the Publications Service of the council that" for many years has worked to expand the bibliography on Fuerteventura "and congratulated Eloy Vera, who after their exertions" joins a long list of intellectuals who have inquired about the past, culture and identity Fuerteventura.

Eloy Vera described the creative process for the realization of these two books whose work began in the summer of 2010, and since then has "brought an important documentary reviewing everything written so far on Fuerteventura in recent centuries, most recently in publications like the magazine Tebet or study days on Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

However, he added, this would not have been possible without the collaboration "all the people who volunteered to do interviews, and finally stars out of books such as fishermen majoreros or farmers. "

The sea is the sea. Fuerteventura

Eloy Vera Sosa said about this publication that his first conclusion is" the demystification of Fuerteventura an island that lives behind the sea. Both older references such as the fossil record or the chronicles of Le Canarien, shows that the former inhabitants of the island incorporated in your diet food from the sea. Later, it is recorded how the arrival of settlers Normans introduced Andalusian and Portuguese words related to fishing, or even new offices as the shipwright.

also talked about how "in times of scarcity the marine diet was a saving resource for many people, what is recorded in ancient records of the council." He said , "this book can serve as a tribute to the fishing trade, which has left us habits as barter with the farmer, the coastal trademark system, traditions and Marian processions, etc..

' Fuerteventura. Water '

Eloy Vera first thanked the collaboration of the historian Javier Sánchez majorero for its contribution to the documentary work of this book. Regarding the evolution of the relationship between population and water Fuerteventura, Vera said in the first place "is the question we know what real reliance were the aborigines of the water, it is not clear that there is a pre-European agriculture, although it is known that their settlements were located in the surroundings of the canyons, or digging in the mountains in search. "

With colonization, "comes the dependence of the population to climate cycles" and their relation to religious events, when people are entrusted to the Catholic deities to ask the arrival of the rains, as reflected for example minutes of the Council "which was recorded in the unique procession that carried the Virgin of La Peña for various locations of the island into an important period of drought."

This unit also led those who were possibly the most dramatic periods in the history of Fuerteventura, when scarcity of rain caused events such as mass migration, mobilization of island leaders to seek help outside or even the death of many majoreros for lack of food.

Vera Sosa also spoke resource extraction soil water in the history of the island, from the first well, the talent to the creation of reservoirs, the figure of dowsers to find water in the soil turned into Varistas, or the development of extraction systems from systems of pulleys, wheels, the arrival of Australian windmills or diesel engines.

Already in the twentieth century, the author spoke of events like Lallermand Admiral interventions seeking to send water to Fuerteventura, or the arrival of modernity with the installation of the first desalination plant in Fuerteventura in the year 1969, emphasizing the latter point the work of César engineer Castañeyra in the implementation of this technology that eventually led to water supplies throughout Fuerteventura.

The Covenant of the Board

By Guillermo Conception

Although cumbersome, I have to remember that what I said. I said it in writing to regional, national and local levels of my party, the PP, now almost a year ago. I gave also check in at the then Deputy Prime Minister (José Manuel Soria).

I said there were activities and expenditures the party that is being funded with public money. Do not believe me. And since then baited me, I threw the PP group in the Cabildo, disqualified me everywhere and I have wanted to take up the party. Thing that today have failed. Bothers them, but I remain of the PP and am working on regeneration post Agueda Montelongo.
late summer of 2010 I requested a written copy of the billing of Tourism (which gave me after several months of waiting at the end of 2010) and since then I've been simply 'tap' some expenses I stood out. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of bills of made in these years. I could not watch everything, all I've been searching around bills PP acts in Fuerteventura and ask for additional documents of certain companies ..

The conclusion and you can read in the media: PP expenditures for activities of the PP, the PP's local address were diverted to subscribers and expenses of the institutions. Now they can say mass, blame on subordinates who then do not admit their guilt, blame the government partners of disloyalty and start the fan the dirt. But the facts are undisputed invoices, false invoices and false concepts to cover costs of the PP in Fuerteventura.
Are the journalists and the media in whose name the bill? Were here at the time the tour operator is said in the bill? not, right? As there is no getting around it. They put your hand where they should not. They played with public money, and I do not care if you are a dime a million euros. That is not done. Decent people do not do that.
are already in place an administrative process research to determine the responsibilities and indicate the next step with the bills, once officially compiled documentation on the companies themselves: little way of prosecution.
And if electoral pacts 22M prevent the administrative record to run its course or is stopped for some reason (in Fuerteventura it comes to an understanding of all against one: the Covenant of the Board, based precisely the cessation of these actions), myself, and then as a private citizen, I will step to justice. If, before the prosecution does not act on their own initiative.
That is the road map drawn from now. No screams, no cries, no insults, no disqualifications, no media fattened with money from Tourism to launch all kinds of outbursts against me. Clearly, there is nothing to hide. Will find out everything, even if the Covenant of the Board after the 22 M.
