Call GSIST / UPR for a teaching position in Library Week

Graduate School of Science and Information Technology invited to apply for a teaching position in Librarianship, leading to permanence in the area indicated below.

Requirements: Doctoral degree (Ph.D., DLS) in Library, Information Science or closely related field with area of \u200b\u200bresearch in Library and Information Science, awarded by a prestigious educational institution. Of professional experience in libraries. Preferably a Masters degree in Library Science from a University accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).

Additional Requirements: Experience univesitaria in teaching, preferably at the graduate level, and application of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process. Demonstrate experience in research and have refereed publications in the discipline. Proficiency in English and English.

Responsibilities: Teaching at the master's programs and certificates, and virtual modalities, advising students on their theses or research projects, research and publication in their area of \u200b\u200bexpertise, to develop proposals for seeking external funding; active participation in the working committees of the School and university management.

deadline and procedures: This call is valid for one year or until the position is filled. Interested should submit: cover letter, curriculum vitae, copies of academic credentials of all grades, and three letters of recommendation. Qualified candidates will be invited to present to the School community a presentation of current research. The input range is usually assistant professor.
